Gigabyte M912
During Computex 2008 Gigabyte officially announced the M912 netbook. What really sets the M912 apart from the rest of the netbook crowd is it’s 8.9-inch swivel and touch screen lit with LED’s and running at 1280×768. While no official model details have been released the M912 will come with XP or Linux pre-installed and the 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM max, and a 120/160/250GB HD (no SSD announced yet). Also in the M912 will be 3 USB ports, a 1.3MP webcam and a battery rated at four hours.
The price is expected to be below $650, which with the touchscreen considered keeps it in the same range as the MSI Wind and eeePC.
